Bardessono Vineyards
Tom Bardessono’s family has been growing grapes in Yountville, California for three generations, and Tom grew up working with his father and uncle in the family’s vineyards. His childhood fascination with the land and harvest led to a passion for wine that carried into a career in winemaking (Robert Mondavi Winery, Opus One, Kendall-Jackson). In 2003, Tom decided to create his own label with the Bardessono name.

Recommended
"Rich and flavorful, this Cabernet has jammy flavors of cassis, cherries, milk chocolate, licorice and vanilla. The wine is almost sweet and very soft in structure, the kind of Cab that adheres to today’s cult parameters. Drink now through 2010."

90 Points - Cellar Selection
"The 2007 BV 'Petty Sarah' is almost identical to the 2006 vintage. It has finesse, complexity, lush fruit, multifaceted aromas and soft tannins. The wine was fermented for 16 days in small bins and French oak barrels with Native or Wild Yeast. This Petite Sirah was then aged in new French and American oak barrels for 15 months."
