Monte quieto

Augustin and Mathilde Casabal met through a bottle of wine. Through their shared passion for good wines and lifes simple pleasures, came Monte Quieto.

In Agrelo, (Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza) they found a place to start both their family and their vineyards. From the outset, Augustin and Mathilde wanted to live in their vineyards, to be close to their wines, and to guard them in every stage of their growing.

The vineyards were planted with the focus on blends that capture each varietys quintessence and combine them to achieve an outstanding wine. They felt that in this way, each varietal would amalgamate itself with the other in the optimum moment of its evolution, giving its best in each bottle. They set out to express the respect and passion of the terroir in each bottle. The sum of Monte Quieto wines is in the essence of the lands which is then transmitted into the grapes and finally into their best wines.

Monte Quieto has three distinct expressions of the land. The Quieto Reserva is the top tier and represents the highest expression from the vineyard. The Quieto is a proprietary blend that focuses on both freshness and complexity that is kind and friendly to drink. Finally, the Quieto 3 Malbec emphasizes the finest Malbec grapes from the three distinct Mendoza terroirs.
