2006 Central Otago Jackson Barry Pinot Noir

Olssens

Olssens, founded by John Olssen and Heather McPherson, is a pioneering vineyard in the rolling paddocks of the Bannockburn Valley in Central Otago. Beside the grape vines in this landmark vineyard are orchards of olive, hazelnut, sugar maple, walnut, chestnut, and other native tree varieties. The grounds of sweeping lawns and clear, mountain-reflecting ponds are nestled among the dry, thyme-covered hills of Central Otago. This setting creates wines that are sophisticated and elegant.
